Working in Partnership with Parents and Carers

 

At Blossom Montessori & Pre-Schools Ltd, we recognise that parents, guardians and carers are a child's first and most important educators.

We are committed to building strong partnerships with families and supporting children's learning and development both at home and within our setting. We believe that when parents feel informed, involved and valued, children benefit from a consistent and nurturing approach to their education.

To encourage open and effective communication, we operate an open-door policy, enabling parents and carers to speak with members of our team whenever support, guidance or discussion is needed. We regularly share newsletters, project information and activity ideas that can be enjoyed at home, helping families to extend their child's learning beyond the classroom.

We also actively encourage parents and carers to share special moments and achievements from home, enabling us to celebrate each child's experiences and interests as part of our Montessori community.

To ensure families remain fully involved in their child's progress, we offer termly parent consultations, either face-to-face or by telephone. We warmly welcome parents, grandparents and other family members to join us for sessions and special events throughout the year, strengthening the connection between home and nursery life.
